At a workshop held at the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), Helen Bloch lectured entrepreneurs on starting a business in Illinois. Helen introduced five basic startup steps which covered everything from selecting a name to paying taxes and hiring employees. Helen also reviewed different types of legal entities and explained which business structures are recommended for startups.
