At a workshop at the Women's Business Development Center (WBDC) Helen Bloch explained to the attendees how to start a business in Illinois. From entity formation to selecting a name, Helen also discussed the role of a registered agent and office, insurance and licensing requirements, and best practices to shield oneself from personal liability.
